Spring Crawl 2017: UVA and Monticello

Join HCC&M volunteers for this special trip to Charlottesville. See original Carter family diaries, letters and other papers in a private tour of Special Collections at the University of Virginia. Explore a fascinating exhibition on the Declaration of Independence at UVA’s Albert and Shirley Small Special Collections Library.  At Monticello enjoy a tour of the house and grounds and a special garden tour with Peter Hatch, the celebrated author and professional gardener who served as Monticello’s Director of Gardens and Grounds for 35 years. Ticket includes admissions, bus, and breakfast treats on ride up and wine/cheese on ride home.  Lunch on your own in Charlottesville.
